A skid mounted cold room or freezer room is a portable refrigerated room built on a heavy-duty base. It can positioned and installed at your site without requiring a permanent building structure, making it suitable for both short-term and long-term cold storage requirements.

Every rental includes Frigbot® 24/7 remote temperature monitoring, SMS and email temperature alerts, daily temperature reports, adjustable heavy-duty shelving, internal LED lighting, preventative maintenance, ongoing technical support and 24/7 emergency breakdown support.

Frigbot® provides online temperature monitoring for your cold room or freezer room. It records temperature data and sends SMS and email alerts if the temperature moves outside the nominated range, helping protect stock and reduce the risk of product loss.

Yes. Daily temperature reports are included with every rental, making it easier to maintain records for food safety, compliance and internal quality control.

Cold rooms are designed to operate between +2°C and +10°C. Freezer rooms are designed to operate between -18°C and -25°C.

Standard cold room and freezer room sizes are available in 2.4m, 3.6m, 4.8m and 6.0m lengths, all with a standard width and height of 2.4m.

Yes. Custom cold rooms and freezer rooms can be supplied on request. Contact our team for a tailored proposal based on your site, storage requirements and rental term.

Yes. Our rooms are suitable for outdoor installation and are built for weatherproof operation, provided the site is level, accessible and has a suitable electrical supply.

Yes. Indoor installation is possible where there is suitable access, clearance, ventilation and power supply. Site suitability will be assessed before installation.

The customer is responsible for providing a stable, level surface capable of supporting the room and its contents. Any required slabs, footings, structural works, access preparation or permits are excluded unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Power requirements depend on the room size and whether it is operating as a cold room or freezer room. Most models are available in single phase or three phase, however the 6.0m freezer room requires three phase power.

Yes. Electrical supply and connection are excluded unless otherwise agreed in writing. We can advise the electrical requirements for your selected room before installation.

Yes. Our rooms include generator connection capability, making them suitable for sites where backup power is required or mains power is unavailable.

Frigbot® monitoring can send alerts where temperature or power-related issues are detected, however the customer is responsible for ensuring a suitable power supply is maintained. If uninterrupted operation is critical, we recommend arranging backup power.

Yes. Adjustable heavy-duty shelving and energy efficient internal LED lighting are included with every rental.

Rooms include lockable door hardware, a personnel safety alarm and an internal emergency safety release for added safety and compliance.
